EDT Retractable CIP
Spray Nozzles Are USDA Accepted
Evaporator Dryer Technologies, Inc.
(EDT) announces their new
Retractable CIP Spray Nozzle
is USDA Accepted for use in dairy plants surveyed and
approved for USDA grading service.
December 3, 1999, EDT received from the
United States Department of Agriculture, Dairy Grading
Branch, the USDA Equipment Acceptance Certificate for
their CIP Nozzle, Model C236-696 and Fire Nozzle Model
F236-696 for compliance with USDA Guidelines for the
Sanitary Design and Fabrication of Dairy Processing
Equipment.
EDT’s Retractable CIP Spray Nozzle is
designed with a liquid-activated spray head that extends
for CIP by liquid pressure and fully retracts after CIP
thus eliminating the need for pneumatic airlines. The
CIP nozzle is designed specifically to remain in place
during production yet can easily be removed for
inspection.
This CIP Nozzle provides a large spray
range of 360º x 200º covering 8 to 12 feet in diameter
for enhanced surface cleaning. Complete stainless steel
construction with a minimum number of parts; and is easy
to assemble – no tools required.
