EDT Announces New Sanitary Heavy-Duty Manways

Evaporator Dryer Technologies, Inc. (EDT) announces the availability of their new Heavy-Duty Manways designed to prevent leakage of process air, CIP solution, and powder from manways covers.

EDT manways feature durable heavy-duty construction with a double-hinged dome cover. This design allows for easy opening and closing that maintains cover alignment. A special gasket prevents leakage from the manway. Further, our all stainless steel swing bolt with an easy grip hand knob allows for quick, easy access, and secure closure of the cover.

The heavy-duty manway is constructed in AISI 316 stainless steel and designed in compliance with USDA Guidelines for the Sanitary Design and Fabrication of Dairy Processing Equipment. Typical areas for use include drying chambers, fluid beds, cyclones, ductwork, baghouses, powder silos, balance tanks or any stainless steel vessels where inspection and access is required.

EDT heavy-duty manways are currently available in 250 mm and 500 mm sizes and are standard components on spray drying systems and equipment provided by Evaporator Dryer Technologies, Inc.
